Role overview
This is a full-time leadership position responsible for the day-to-day performance of the club. The role sets the standard for sales, service, and operations, with accountability for commercial results and for creating an outstanding experience for every member on every visit.
As the club’s main representative, you will lead from the front on the gym floor and at reception, uphold consistently high standards, and motivate the team to deliver strong results. The position calls for close attention to detail, decisive problem-solving, and complete ownership of key performance measures, team growth, and operational consistency.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, coach, and develop a strong team, while giving regular and constructive feedback to help each person perform at their best.
- Take responsibility for all revenue streams, including memberships, personal training, and secondary spend, with a focus on improving profitability.
- Build a positive, energetic, and premium member environment that improves every interaction with the club.
- Manage sales and operational processes, ensuring company standards and central programmes are delivered to a high level.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the site at all times.
- Respond quickly to challenges, adapt when priorities change, and support the team through change.
- Oversee compliance, policies, procedures, health and safety, and pool plant operations in line with required guidelines.

What you will bring
- A strong interest in health, fitness, and wellbeing.
- A Level 2 Fitness Qualification, which is preferred but not essential.
- Confident leadership ability, with the flexibility to adjust communication and management style as needed.

- Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
