Cadence Education is looking for a motivated Preschool Assistant Cook to support meal service in a childcare setting. The role suits someone who enjoys working around children and wants to contribute to a nurturing, high-energy early education environment.

What You Will Do
- Prepare healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks that help preschool children stay active and satisfied.
- Support the kitchen staff in creating a friendly and organized mealtime experience.
- Use a caring, child-focused mindset while carrying out kitchen duties.
- Contribute in a lively, fast-moving setting where daily tasks can vary.
- Handle minor food preparation, keep food and supply areas orderly, wash dishes, deliver meals to classrooms, and maintain kitchen systems.
- Take on other support duties when needed, including laundry, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing toys.
- Be prepared for work that includes physical lifting.
Qualifications
- High school education or GED equivalent.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Must meet all state-specific regulations that apply to preschool cooks.
- At least 1 year of experience in meal planning, food preparation, and food service in line with USDA guidelines.
- Food Handler’s Card or ServSafe certification is preferred.
