Role Summary
The Admin & Accounts Associate will be responsible for keeping office operations running smoothly while also supporting core accounting activities. This position combines administrative coordination, bookkeeping support, partner communication, and financial follow-up tasks within a fast-moving travel environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day office administration and help maintain an efficient workplace.
- Keep files, records, contracts, and other company documents well organized and up to date.
- Raise and track invoices, receipts, supplier settlements, and customer collections in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Enter and maintain financial data in the accounting system.
- Carry out bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow tracking.
- Monitor overdue balances and follow up with customers and suppliers as needed.
- Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport vendors, and other travel partners on bookings, payments, and required paperwork.
- Prepare booking documents and operational reports when required.
- Handle office correspondence, emails, and general administrative queries.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial and administrative reports for management.
- Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance across all administrative and financial records.
- Assist management with additional administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in administration, accounting, or a similar position.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good grasp of basic accounting concepts and record-keeping practices.
- Strong planning, organization, and time-management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when managing financial and administrative data.
- Effective written and spoken English communication skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a busy environment.
- Preference will be given to candidates already based in Qatar who can join on short notice.
