You will partner with an outside sales colleague on shared accounts while also taking responsibility for growth in smaller to mid-sized new accounts.
This position is important to both customer retention and business expansion, with a focus on renewals, account growth, and broader adoption of Velsera’s clinical diagnostics offerings.
About Velsera

Velsera delivers software and professional services across AI-driven multimodal data harmonization and analytics, IVD development and validation, regulatory approval support, clinical NGS interpretation and reporting, and access to one of the world’s largest multimodal data sets.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with decision-makers and other key stakeholders across your assigned accounts.

- Create and execute account strategies centered on retention, expansion, and long-term client partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and broader solution adoption within existing accounts.
- Handle renewal conversations and contribute to contract discussions that support customer success and revenue growth.
- Understand customer goals and pain points, then position Velsera’s solutions to meet those needs.
- Run regular business reviews and stakeholder meetings to demonstrate value and outline future opportunities.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, and Support to resolve customer requirements.
- Keep Salesforce updated with pipeline activity, account plans, forecasts, and renewal information.
- Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and business reviews tailored to client needs.
- Stay informed on Velsera’s products and the clinical genomics and diagnostics market.
- Track market shifts and competitor activity to strengthen Velsera’s positioning.
- Represent the company at conferences and industry events when needed.
- Be prepared for travel of up to 30%.
Required experience and skills

- Capability to manage multiple opportunities, set priorities effectively, and move deals toward close.
- Comfort working collaboratively with field or outside sales partners on shared accounts.
- Experience using CRM tools, with Salesforce as the preferred platform, plus common business productivity software.
Preferred background
- Experience in healthcare, clinical laboratories, genetics, genomics, or life sciences.
- Exposure to SaaS or data solutions used in clinical or research environments.
- Bachelor’s degree.
