About the Role

We are collaborating with an esteemed brand seeking an experienced Technical Gerber Pattern Cutter. The role involves ensuring precision in patterns, correct grading, and completion of technical and production packs before submitting for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Atelier team.
• Apply extensive expertise in Gerber pattern cutting.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy in all tasks.
• Proactively provide solutions and advice on technical fitting issues.
• Handle costing aspects relevant to patterns.
• Leverage knowledge of lay pattern techniques.
• Experience with Zedonk software is preferred.
• Review and update detailed pattern specification sheets as needed.
• Implement pattern modifications based on fit meeting feedback.
• Create precise patterns starting from initial prototypes.
• Participate in production fit sessions, adjust patterns accordingly, and manage them through to the production phase.
• Verify and amend grading to ensure accuracy.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Proven and wide-ranging experience in Gerber pattern cutting and grading.
• Strong grasp of detail, garment shape, and proportion.
• Exceptionally attentive to detail.
• Previous grading experience for fashion brands is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Demonstrated passion for pattern making, design, and garment construction.
