Senior Solutions Architect - Data & AI

About the Role

Noventiq is seeking a motivated and result-driven Senior Solutions Architect specializing in Data & AI to join its expanding team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role demands an independent, client-facing individual capable of guiding complex customer engagements and crafting advanced technological solutions focused on modern data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML, specifically within the Azure ecosystem. Fluency in Arabic is required to engage effectively with clients across the Middle East.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end client interactions as the primary solutions architect, independently managing discussions and engagements.
• Conduct high-level workshops with executives and technical teams, translating business problems into robust Data & AI solutions.
• Architect comprehensive enterprise solutions, including modern data platforms like data warehouses, lakehouses, real-time analytics, AI/ML applications such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, and generative AI, and application architectures like microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems.
• Design integration between data platforms and enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, and custom applications.
• Develop data and API strategies ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, performant, and cost-effective.
• Drive presales technical activities by preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, building architectural diagrams, cost models, implementation plans, and business-aligned value propositions.
• Participate in solution demonstrations, proofs of concept, and architectural validations.
• Align customer business objectives with measurable data and AI outcomes while identifying opportunities for modernization, innovation, upselling, and cross-selling.
• Collaborate closely with sales, delivery, and engineering teams to ensure smooth handover from presales to execution and provide architectural guidance during delivery phases.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers focused on Data & AI and application architecture practices.

Technical Expertise Required

• Deep knowledge of Azure Data & AI technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, and AI services like OpenAI.
• Proficient understanding of data architecture patterns, including Lakehouse, data mesh, data governance, security, compliance, AI/ML lifecycle, and MLOps.
• Experience architecting both Azure-native and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Robust application architecture experience encompassing microservices, distributed systems, API design and management (REST, GraphQL), event-driven architectures (Kafka, messaging), and application modernization including containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with middleware and enterprise integration platforms, as well as frontend/backend separation and modern digital stacks.

Professional Background

• Minimum of 8 years in technology consulting or architecture with at least 4 years focused on Data & AI solution architecture.
• Solid experience in presales or consulting roles with direct customer engagement and a track record of closing complex deals.
• Preference for candidates with prior experience serving Middle Eastern clients.
• Fluent Arabic communication skills (both written and spoken) are essential; strong English communication is also required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.

Additional Information
