Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our expanding team. This role involves overseeing the mechanical aspects of residential development projects in Dublin, focusing on plumbing, HVAC, and building mechanical services. Initially, you will manage a single residential project with growth opportunities to handle multiple projects as the company expands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical scope throughout residential construction projects from initiation through to completion.
- Supervise the installation of plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical building services to ensure quality and compliance.
- Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and meeting all quality requirements.
- Manage relations and coordinate activities with mechanical subcontractors and onsite teams.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, project specifications, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, design teams, and main contractors to ensure smooth project progress.
- Track project milestones, troubleshoot technical challenges, and provide detailed status updates.
- Ensure all mechanical works satisfy health and safety regulations and relevant building standards.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a comparable position.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering residential construction projects.
- Strong mechanical expertise with practical, hands-on experience in plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical building services.
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services is preferred.
- Competency in reading and understanding mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Holder of a full clean driving license.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary between €80000 and €85000, dependent on experience.
