About the Role
Infosys is seeking a proficient Java Full Stack Developer to architect, develop, and support scalable web solutions. This role requires a strong command of Java backend technologies alongside modern frontend frameworks, delivering end-to-end application development.
Key Duties
- Design, implement, test, and deploy comprehensive web applications using Java and contemporary frontend technologies
- Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs leveraging Java and Spring Boot
- Build responsive, high-performance user interfaces
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and engineering teams to deliver quality outcomes
- Produce clean, reusable, maintainable code adhering to best development practices
- Conduct code reviews and advocate continuous codebase improvements
- Identify, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance issues
- Engage actively in Agile and Scrum processes including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Technical Expertise Required
- Strong Java experience (Java 8 or newer)
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security frameworks
- Proficient in REST API design and integration
- Knowledge of ORM tools such as Hibernate or JPA
- Experience with microservices architectures advantageous
- Frontend skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript with proficiency in Angular, React, or Vue.js
- Ability to develop responsive UIs and manage state using relevant frameworks
- Competence in SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Version control tools like Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to new technologies swiftly
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Between 5 to 9 years of software development experience in Java full stack roles
