Role Overview

We are searching for a skilled Insulation Inspector to join us on a one-year contract in Qatar, serving our client in the oil and gas sector.

Key Duties

• Assess hot and cold insulation systems thoroughly.
• Validate the use of insulation materials and their installation processes.
• Inspect cladding and weatherproofing arrangements.
• Measure insulation thickness and verify adherence to quality standards.
• Enforce compliance with Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) prevention protocols.
• Review certifications of materials and keep inspection records accurate.
• Perform final inspections prior to project handover.

Required Knowledge

• Understanding of CUI prevention techniques and standards.
• Familiarity with cryogenic insulation systems.
• Knowledge of hot insulation system applications.
• Standards related to LNG facility insulation.
• Awareness of relevant project specifications.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as FROSIO Insulation Inspector, ICorr, or their equivalents are advantageous.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience inspecting industrial insulation.
• Background in LNG, refinery, petrochemical, or offshore project environments.
