About the role
DADO is creating a new kind of luxury gifting experience by combining thoughtful curation, product design, and technology. The team values strong craftsmanship across engineering, design, and user experience.
In this internship, you will work directly with the founders and help deliver live product features that customers actually use. The role is hands-on and production-focused, with real ownership rather than observation or side work.
What you will do
- Build and enhance customer-facing product features across the DADO platform.
- Create responsive, visually accurate interfaces from Figma designs.
- Develop backend services, APIs, and database structures.
- Connect third-party tools and internal systems with the platform.
- Test, troubleshoot, and improve overall product quality and user experience.
- Work closely with product, design, and engineering partners.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
- Understanding of full-stack development workflows.
- Experience working with APIs and relational databases, with PostgreSQL as the preferred database.
- Ability to turn design files into polished, production-ready interfaces.
- Careful attention to detail and a strong quality mindset.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Interest in building products that users genuinely enjoy.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to Next.js.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Work involving Stripe integrations.
- Familiarity with Supabase.
- Startup experience or work on side projects.
Tech stack
The role works with React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Stripe, Supabase, and AWS, with AWS migration currently underway.
