Job Overview

The role involves designing and crafting artificial floral arrangements for showroom displays, adhering to company standards on selection and presentation. The position requires creativity in working with a wide variety of faux flowers, plants, and dried flowers in multiple styles and colors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain sufficient inventory of artificial flowers, plants, and decorative accessories like pots, vases, wires, foams, ribbons, and tapes essential for floral displays.
• Cut and assemble materials such as fabric, wood, and paper to construct artificial foliage items including wreaths and trees.
• Prepare vases by adding tape grids or chicken wire to stabilize and support floral stems effectively.
• Select appropriate vases to ensure attractive and well-formed artificial flower arrangements.
• Offer expert advice to clients on suitable combinations of artificial flowers.
• Follow established principles of floral design emphasizing balance, proportion, unity, harmony, rhythm, and focal points within arrangements.
• Receive shipments, prepare flowers by trimming, and display them properly.
• Recommend indoor and outdoor artificial plants tailored for specific occasions.
• Maintain cleanliness of artificial plants by dusting with a damp cloth, paper towel, or using compressed air.
• Provide instructions to clients on correct handling and transportation of arrangements.
• Engage with clients to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct market research, collect relevant data, and negotiate contracts prior to finalizing deals.
• Present feedback and reports periodically to stakeholders.
