Electrician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Delta Hotels and Resorts in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures. The electrician will work with both hand and power tools, follow job specifications, and comply with the National Electric Code and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Diagnose and inspect malfunctioning tools and systems.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
• Utilize testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Test batteries in generators and emergency lighting systems.
• Plan layouts and installations according to blueprints and codes.
• Respond promptly to repair requests and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition necessary supplies.
• Adhere strictly to safety, security, and company policies; report hazards and incidents.
• Handle flammable materials responsibly and maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Engage courteously with guests and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Build positive working relationships and communicate professionally.
• Perform manual tasks including moving or manipulating objects up to 10 pounds.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
• No supervisory responsibilities required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
