Cyber Security Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cybersecurity and Compliance professional to carry out hands-on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) activities including audits, risk documentation, metrics tracking, and incident response. A key part of this position is to develop and deliver specialized cybersecurity training across the GCC region, requiring global-level training experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive IT and cybersecurity training programs, catering to audiences of varying expertise within the GCC.
• Convert intricate IT and cybersecurity standards into straightforward, engaging learning materials such as presentations, case studies, and practical exercises.
• Lead in-person and virtual interactive workshops and seminars, ensuring participants remain engaged and grasp complex concepts effectively.
• Continuously update training materials by incorporating latest developments, interpretations, and announcements in IT and cybersecurity.
• Provide expert support and guidance to trainees by answering queries and clarifying challenging concepts.
• Evaluate training impact using feedback and performance assessments, and improve methodologies and content accordingly.
• Work closely with internal teams to identify specific learning needs and customize training programs to address them.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.
• Over 5 years of extensive hands-on experience in applying and interpreting IT and cybersecurity principles.
• At least 3 years of documented experience in training or instructional roles with proven success in developing and delivering technical programs.
• Preferably holds certifications in information storage and management and Azure Security.
• Deep understanding of current IT and cybersecurity standards and practical applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an ability to simplify complex information.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and adapt to diverse learner preferences.
• Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
