Internship Overview
Join Underpin Services as a remote Illustrator intern, contributing your artistic talents to bring game visuals to life. As a valued member of our team, you will create diverse 2D illustrations including characters, environments, props, and UI elements, collaborating closely with the game art group to transform storyboards into polished graphics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design 2D illustrations for various game components like characters, environments, props, UI parts, and game assets.
- Work alongside the game art team to convert concepts and storyboards into high-quality production visuals.
- Enhance character design by producing detailed facial expressions, poses, and wardrobe variations.
- Assist animation and design teams by providing visual references and layered artwork.
- Maintain uniform style and uphold quality standards consistent with the game's established visual direction.
- Incorporate feedback constructively and revise illustrations as needed.

Eligibility and Additional Requirements
- Currently enrolled or recently completed studies in illustration, graphic design, fine arts, or related disciplines.
- Robust portfolio demonstrating a variety of illustration techniques and styles.
- Proficient user of Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Fundamental knowledge of design principles, colour theory, and typography.
- Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Attention to detail combined with effective time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and openness to constructive criticism.
Compensation & Benefits
Remuneration ranges from INR 10,000 to INR 12,000 per month. Successful interns will receive a certificate and may be offered full-time employment with a salary prospect of INR 300,000 to 400,000 annually upon conversion.
