About the internship

This part-time, work-from-home internship is with Safalta Setu, a non-profit initiative focused on helping Army Brats (children of Armed Forces personnel) access meaningful industry opportunities. The program is designed to create a bridge between military youth and professional growth through mentorship, career guidance, and access to networks. The organization is supported by IIT alumni and aims to build a long-term ecosystem that connects capable talent with opportunity.

What you'll do

Support behavioral screening and evaluate candidates using competency-based frameworks and cultural fit criteria.
Help create and run employee engagement surveys, feedback forms, and wellbeing-related activities.
Hold one-on-one sessions with interns to understand motivation, challenges, and overall experience.
Review engagement patterns and suggest ways to improve satisfaction and retention.
Assist with onboarding work and contribute to a smooth candidate and intern journey.
Take part in conflict resolution by using active listening and structured communication methods.
Contribute to workplace wellness, team bonding, and psychological safety initiatives.
Maintain employee records, engagement data, and HR documentation.
Assist with HR research on motivation, productivity, learning, and workplace behavior.
Work alongside the HR team to improve organizational culture and employee experience.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, start between 4 July 2026 and 8 August 2026, and commit to a 4-month internship. Applicants should have relevant skills and interest in the field. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Pursuing or already completed a degree in Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
Understanding of employee behavior, motivation, and workplace dynamics.
Strong empathy, communication ability, and people-management skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Genuine interest in people development and employee well-being.

Additional information
