About the internship
This part-time, work-from-home internship is with Safalta Setu, a non-profit initiative focused on helping Army Brats (children of Armed Forces personnel) access meaningful industry opportunities. The program is designed to create a bridge between military youth and professional growth through mentorship, career guidance, and access to networks. The organization is supported by IIT alumni and aims to build a long-term ecosystem that connects capable talent with opportunity.
What you'll do
- Support behavioral screening and evaluate candidates using competency-based frameworks and cultural fit criteria.
- Help create and run employee engagement surveys, feedback forms, and wellbeing-related activities.
- Hold one-on-one sessions with interns to understand motivation, challenges, and overall experience.
- Review engagement patterns and suggest ways to improve satisfaction and retention.
- Assist with onboarding work and contribute to a smooth candidate and intern journey.
- Take part in conflict resolution by using active listening and structured communication methods.
- Contribute to workplace wellness, team bonding, and psychological safety initiatives.
- Maintain employee records, engagement data, and HR documentation.
- Assist with HR research on motivation, productivity, learning, and workplace behavior.
- Work alongside the HR team to improve organizational culture and employee experience.
