Job Overview

Overhead Door Corporation is currently seeking to fill a permanent full-time Warehouse Worker position in their Saskatoon branch. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role involves executing all general warehouse functions efficiently and safely.

Key Duties

• Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse environment while managing accurate inventory controls.
• Handle receipt and dispatch of materials including processing incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and deliver detailed reports to the Warehouse Manager.
• Oversee rolling inventory for ongoing projects following company policies and procedures.
• Carry out material handling tasks related to order fulfillment, loading, and unloading.
• Adhere strictly to established protocols to ensure error-free shipping and receiving operations.
• Uphold professional conduct at all times within the workplace.
• Promote and enforce safety standards throughout all warehouse activities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Utilize hand tools, electric tools, and ladders competently during assigned tasks.
• Collaborate regularly with warehouse staff, project managers, customers, other trades, and safety officials.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in trades such as construction, welding, millwright services, electrical work, or warehouse operations.
• Prior exposure to a warehouse environment considered beneficial.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to obtain or possession of safety certifications such as WHMIS, Fall Protection, First Aid, etc.
• Ability to lift weights up to 75 pounds and perform physical activities such as lifting, pulling, climbing, standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, and operating tools/equipment.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screenings including background check, substance testing, and health assessment.
• New hires must submit a current Driver's Abstract at their own expense.
