Position Overview
The Material Handler III role is vital to seamless warehouse functions, focusing on precise storekeeping, material receiving, inventory accuracy, and handling tasks such as packing, unpacking, and material transfers. Responsibilities include managing crates and wooden boxes, performing system transactions, supporting audit activities, and executing cycle counts to uphold stock integrity. Strict compliance with safety protocols and 6S standards ensures an organized and secure warehouse environment contributing to business excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage receipt, storage, and organization of materials in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
- Handle packing, unpacking, picking, audit processes, and material transfers.
- Complete system transactions related to warehouse activities.
- Manage crating and uncrating operations for wooden packaging.
- Conduct general housekeeping and store maintenance duties.
- Follow all safety guidelines and 6S warehouse standards strictly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum technical certificate such as SKM or a technical diploma.
- Preferably 4 to 6 years of relevant material handling or warehouse experience.
- Proficient with computers and warehouse management systems.
- Forklift license or experience with reach trucks is an advantage.
