JavaScript Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a JavaScript Developer to design, build, and deploy features throughout our web platform. This position involves working with modern JavaScript and TypeScript technologies, collaborating closely with the engineering team on live production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain functionalities across Node.js backend and React or Vue frontend frameworks.
• Produce clean, well-structured, and thoroughly tested JavaScript and TypeScript code.
• Design, integrate, and utilize APIs connecting various services.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects spanning the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews and help establish engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define project scopes and negotiate trade-offs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience building production-ready JavaScript or TypeScript applications.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js and expertise in at least one frontend framework such as React or Vue.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern build tools including Vite, Webpack, or esbuild.
• Experience utilizing testing libraries like Jest, Vitest, or Playwright.
• Working knowledge of relational databases, including SQL query writing.
• Comfortable using Git version control, continuous integration/deployment pipelines, and standard code review workflows.
