Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

We are seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join our team in Lurgan, Northern Ireland. This role involves delivering groceries to customers, ensuring excellent service and efficiency while working independently. The driver will serve as the direct contact between the company and customers, representing the brand while on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow safe van loading procedures including manual handling and heavy lifting
• Maintain adherence to safe driving practices at all times
• Conduct routine vehicle checks before and during shifts
• Deliver food items ensuring they reach customers in optimal condition
• Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries
• Assist with store duties as needed
• Manage time effectively and work independently
• Be flexible with shift timings which can vary between 6am and 11pm

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points
• Demonstrate a positive and friendly attitude with a passion for customer service
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines
• Show strong awareness of road safety regulations and practices
