Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Databricks Developer for its Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh location. This is a full-time onsite role focused on building and supporting data engineering and analytics solutions on modern cloud data platforms.

Core Technical Expectations

Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and closely related ecosystem tools.
Strong coding ability in at least one of Python, Scala, or Java.
Practical experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL pipelines/tools.
Working knowledge of SQL, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows/Jobs.
Exposure to data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling concepts.
Experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
Relevant Databricks certifications, such as Databricks Certified Developer or Databricks Certified Data Scientist, are preferred.

Communication and Collaboration

The role also calls for strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
