Databricks Developer

Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Databricks Developer for its Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh location. This is a full-time onsite role focused on building and supporting data engineering and analytics solutions on modern cloud data platforms.

Core Technical Expectations

• Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and closely related ecosystem tools.
• Strong coding ability in at least one of Python, Scala, or Java.
• Practical experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and ETL pipelines/tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL, Unity Catalog, and Databricks Workflows/Jobs.
• Exposure to data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling concepts.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Relevant Databricks certifications, such as Databricks Certified Developer or Databricks Certified Data Scientist, are preferred.
