About the Role
We are seeking a Customer Security Director to empower the sales process for our complete range of products and services by demonstrating our robust security capabilities. In this role, you will enhance Ericsson's ability to offer solutions that fully satisfy the security requirements of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a dynamic team possessing diverse expertise in security and privacy, fostering continual learning and growth.
- Establish yourself proactively as a trusted security consultant for customers and internal stakeholders.
- Offer proactive security guidance to Ericsson Customer Units and key decision-makers.
- Act as the principal liaison between customers and Ericsson concerning Security, Privacy, and Business Continuity Management (BCM).
- Identify, understand, and address customers' security and privacy concerns, ensuring these are accurately represented in contracts and that security commitments are fulfilled through cooperation with Ericsson's security community.
- Support both pre-sales and post-sales activities by evaluating customer needs and recommending appropriate security solutions.
- Provide expert advice across a broad range of security domains, including risk assessment, governance, data management, product privacy and security hardening, ISO 27001 controls, and vulnerability assessments.
- Guide project delivery and gap resolution by analyzing customer technologies, defining business needs, and engaging in risk analysis.
Candidate Profile
- Proven capability to lead internal security projects effectively, combining strategic leadership with hands-on management and cross-functional facilitation across Ericsson.
- Excellent relationship management skills to coordinate cybersecurity teams and stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Ability to communicate security expertise clearly to diverse audiences, reinforcing Ericsson’s security posture.
- Educational background including a bachelor's degree or higher in IT, security, or related technical fields; master's degree preferred.
- 8 to 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
- In-depth knowledge of the telecommunications and/or IoT sectors, with demonstrated experience in product security, privacy, and cybersecurity principles.
- Understanding of security considerations relevant to telecom solutions such as Open RAN, Service Based Architecture, network slicing, distributed cloud, Managed services, and XaaS.
- Familiarity with local security regulations within the communications domain.
- Strong knowledge of security standards, assurance programs, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, coupled with international and social adeptness.
