Position Overview

At JW Marriott, a distinguished member of Marriott International's luxury collection, the role of Bartender centers around creating memorable dining experiences by complementing food with expertly prepared drinks. Our Guest Service Experts contribute much more than mere service — they craft personalized, welcoming encounters that guests remember.

Key Duties

The position requires attentiveness to delivering wide-ranging hospitality functions including setting tables, effective kitchen communication, guest interactions, serving, and upkeep of work areas and supplies. The goal is to ensure guests enjoy every moment of their meal with seamless service integration.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Applicants should be prepared to spend considerable time actively moving, standing, or sitting on uneven or slippery surfaces. Physical tasks may involve lifting or maneuvering objects up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance, as well as reaching overhead and below the knees through bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. These responsibilities are essential to consistently provide excellent service.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess at least a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Prior experience related to the role is less than one year, and supervisory responsibilities are not required. No specific licenses or certifications are mandatory.
