Full Stack Developer Internship - Remote, Part Time

About the Internship

This internship offers a remote, part-time opportunity to work within a venture studio focused on building impactful digital products with an emphasis on human-AI collaboration. Interns engage directly with the founder, working on real early-stage business products primarily through full-stack development. Each intern will own a key product or technical workstream, collaborating occasionally with peers. The flexible role involves around 20 hours per week, accommodating student schedules, with most activities conducted asynchronously. However, interns should be available for live collaboration sessions generally lasting 1-2 hours between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time every few days.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a main product or technical stream, covering all phases from requirements gathering through implementation, testing, documentation, and presentation.
• Translate meeting notes, project tickets, and product guidance into actionable tasks with acceptance criteria, delivering working software accordingly.
• Develop responsive full-stack web applications, including front-end interfaces, APIs, backend services, databases, user authentication, integrations, and automations.
• Collaborate directly with AI coding agents and their teams to build, debug, test, and document technical solutions, maintaining accountability for outcomes.
• Explore unknown technical challenges, assess alternative approaches, propose recommendations, and escalate issues with relevant context when needed.
• Perform comprehensive testing on functionality, usability, security, performance, and edge cases before code review.
• Keep clear and up-to-date project records including documentation, Git history, pull requests, and issue tracking.
• Work collaboratively with fellow interns through pair programming and code reviews to ensure correctness and maintainability.
• Present finished features, demos, tradeoffs, and any unresolved questions to the founder for product review feedback.

Candidate Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate demonstrating experience in software development, web applications, automation, or building technical products with verifiable evidence over formal education.
• Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and experienced in at least one modern frontend framework plus one backend language or framework.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, Git/GitHub workflows, debugging, testing, and deploying web applications.
• Portfolio such as repositories, deployed apps, or demos clearly showing personal technical contributions.
• Strong problem-solving skills enabling breaking down ambiguous challenges, independent research, testing assumptions, and self-driven progress.
• Effective communication in written and spoken English for calls, documentation, updates, and technical discussions.
• Dependable communication, honesty, respect for confidentiality, and careful management of security and access permissions.
• Enthusiasm about AI-assisted development tools, coding agents, automation, and emerging product-building technologies.

Additional Selection Criteria

• Submit credible links validating your individual work on technical projects such as deployed web services, Github repos, APIs, automations, or agentic workflows, with explicit explanation of your role.
• Preference for candidates who have previously taken projects from vague concepts to tangible results, including personal, academic, freelance, open-source, or hackathon work.
• Exposure to deployment, authentication, databases, testing, cloud services, or third-party integrations is a plus.
• Openness to constructive peer reviewing, pairing, receiving feedback, and fast iteration.
• Availability for occasional hour increases during critical project phases, balanced with academic commitments.
• Must have reliable laptop and stable high-speed internet for remote work.

Working Conditions and Schedule

This fully remote internship requires approximately 20 hours weekly, primarily asynchronous with some scheduled live collaborations. Availability during 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. IST (equivalent to 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time) is essential. Duration is six months, with start date between August 8 and September 12, 2026.

Compensation & Benefits

A monthly stipend range of INR 16,500 to 23,000 is offered. Additional perks include flexible working hours, a 5-day workweek, a certificate upon completion, and a letter of recommendation.

Hiring Process
