Role Overview
The Zonal Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing logistics operations across multiple zones. This role focuses on ensuring smooth order fulfillment, punctual deliveries, and cost-efficient distribution strategies that drive sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and execute zonal logistics strategies that support sales goals.
- Optimize transportation routes, warehouse processes, and overall logistics efficiency.
- Manage accurate and timely processing and shipment of orders, coordinating with regional teams to ensure flawless delivery execution.
- Maintain strong vendor and stakeholder relations, including 3PL partners and transport providers, negotiating contracts to balance cost and quality.
- Oversee inventory levels to avoid shortages or surpluses, collaborating closely with sales and procurement units to guarantee product availability.
- Lead, train, and evaluate the zonal logistics team to boost performance and productivity.
- Ensure logistics activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements, proactively managing risks associated with transport, warehousing, and delivery.
