Role Overview

The Young Professional Compliance Analyst position supports the Compliance department by ensuring the organization complies with all regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices. This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals in the early stages of their careers seeking practical experience in compliance, regulatory environments, risk assessment, and financial services.

Key Duties

  • Assist with monitoring adherence to relevant laws, rules, and internal guidelines.
  • Help review and update compliance policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Conduct initial compliance audits and evaluation of client onboarding files.
  • Support procedures related to Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
  • Maintain thorough and organized compliance documentation and records.
  • Assist with compliance reports and regular regulatory submissions.
  • Track regulatory updates and notify the Compliance team of material changes.
  • Help investigate compliance issues and record observations.
  • Participate in internal audits, compliance evaluations, and risk assessments.
  • Compile reports, presentations, and compliance monitoring dashboards for leadership.
  • Support training programs to enhance employee compliance awareness.
  • Work with other departments to foster a culture emphasizing compliance and ethical behavior.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
  • New graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of work experience.
  • Strong enthusiasm for governance, risk, regulatory compliance, and management.
  • Beneficial to have familiarity with AML, KYC, and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical abilities paired with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and oral.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High integrity and capacity to manage sensitive information confidentially.
