Job Overview and Benefits

This position involves joining a busy yard team of five members, working Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm with a one-hour lunch break. Core Responsibilities

• Conducting daily safety checks on forklift trucks.
• Unloading delivery vehicles, verifying goods, completing delivery documentation, and storing items in correct locations.
• Picking and preparing materials for deliveries via company trucks.
• Loading vehicles for dispatch.
• Performing daily stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assisting customers at the trade counter during collection.
• Adhering strictly to all onsite health and safety procedures.
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the yard area throughout the working day.
• Documenting any damaged items to ensure stock records remain precise.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a valid counterbalance forklift truck license is essential; experience with JCB Telehandlers is highly advantageous.
• Previous exposure to civils materials either within a merchant environment or on construction sites is required.
