With approximately 150 team members across the US and Europe, supported by nearly $100 million in funding from prominent investors, Gigs is rapidly growing and bringing together experienced engineers and business professionals from top companies. The company focuses on tackling challenging technical and regulatory issues to streamline connectivity.

Role Overview
The Workplace Manager will be responsible for shaping and managing the physical workplaces where Gigs’ culture thrives, including various hubs and pad locations globally, plus company-wide offsite events. This position combines operational management, hospitality, and community engagement to ensure high-functioning and welcoming environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire experience and smooth operation of Gigs Hubs & Pads in cities such as Berlin, London, Amsterdam, New York, and San Francisco, ensuring they reflect company culture and brand.

- Collaborate with People Operations and Founders Office teams to align in-person workplace use with the company's remote-flexible model, supporting teamwork and focus.
- Drive community-building efforts by organizing informal social events, celebrating milestones, and cultivating a sense of belonging.
- Coordinate logistics for company-wide offsite events (Gigs Republic) and executive meetings, including venue selection and creating memorable experiences.
- Contribute to shaping workplace strategy including potential expansion to new locations.
- Promote sustainability, accessibility, and inclusivity throughout all workplace operations and environments.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum five years’ experience in managing workplace operations or employee experience within fast-paced, international environments.
- A holistic perspective on how physical spaces influence culture, creativity, and team connection.
- Highly organized, proactive, with a strong bias toward action and ability to balance hands-on work with strategic thinking.

- Experience managing vendor relationships, budgeting, and handling small projects.
- Thrives in ownership-driven environments, continuously seeking improvements and enhancements.
- Clear, concise, and thoughtful communication skills across various formats.
- Based in Berlin or New York City and willing to travel to other locations; comfortable with working beyond standard office hours.
Work Environment and Culture
Gigs values in-person collaboration to foster strong relationships and effective teamwork. While flexibility for remote work exists, regular presence in physical hubs and travel for workshops and events is expected. Workspaces are designed for comfort and productivity, encouraging natural and energizing interaction within small teams.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary with equity participation via stock options.
- Stipends for home office or work setup expenses.
- Allocated budget for professional development and learning opportunities.
- Provision of a company phone and international data plan.
