Role Overview
The Workday User Access Review Analyst will be part of the Workday Services team, supporting the Workday Risk & Controls Lead. This role ensures the proper execution and maintenance of WPP’s Workday User Access Review (UAR) processes across multiple business units globally, helping maintain compliance and governance standards as Workday evolves across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and oversee the UAR process to ensure Workday compliance within designated WPP business units.
- Perform recurring UAR cycles and seek opportunities to enhance automation and process efficiency.
- Document and log any changes to the UAR methodology accurately.
- Collaborate closely with the Workday Security Manager to manage access controls and process updates.
- Maintain detailed documentation on User Access Management (UAM) design modifications.
- Leverage Workday access control functions and assist with the deployment of new features.
- Conduct thorough access reviews during employee onboarding, role changes, and termination events.
- Continuously advocate and recommend improvements to strengthen the UAR process.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of three years’ professional background in global ERP implementations or business-as-usual environments.
- Solid understanding of ERP Security and Access Management models, including user personas and segregation of duties within HR, Finance, and Professional Services.
- Familiarity with Tier 1 ERP platforms, notably Workday, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Demonstrated experience managing and monitoring User Access functions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related data manipulation tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to build trust and relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Effective organizational abilities, with robust time and task management skills.
- Creative problem-solving aptitude with an agile approach to delivering streamlined solutions.
- Established professionalism characterized by credibility and strong personal integrity.
