Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Workday Supply Chain Management (SCM) Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday SCM solutions. This position is office-based in Kondapur, Hyderabad, working 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST aligned with Eastern Time zone. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams in procurement, supply chain, finance, IT, and business leadership to create scalable, efficient workflows encompassing procurement, supplier management, inventory, expenses, and financial processes within Workday. The candidate must have extensive hands-on experience with Workday SCM and deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for Workday SCM modules including Procurement, Supplier Management, Inventory, Supplier Accounts, and relevant financials.
• Interpret complex business needs to formulate scalable Workday technical and functional solutions.
• Develop and define end-to-end processes across Procure-to-Pay, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, and Accounts Payable.
• Set standards for Workday configuration, governance, security, and design principles.
• Identify and promote opportunities to simplify and automate supply chain processes.
• Assess Workday updates impact and recommend necessary architectural adjustments.
• Provide expert guidance on detailed configuration of Workday Procurement, Supplier Management, Accounts, Inventory, Expenses, and approval workflows.
• Create advanced approval workflows, condition rules, validations, and business process setups.
• Design security roles aligned with organizational policies.
• Oversee integration design between Workday SCM and third-party ERP systems, banks, procurement platforms, and other enterprise systems using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Define integration requirements including data flows, interface specifications, error handling, and reconciliation processes.
• Troubleshoot and recommend fixes for integration and data consistency issues.
• Lead architecture oversight for full-lifecycle Workday SCM implementations, encompassing discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
• Engage business and technical stakeholders through workshops, presentations, and mentorship.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, security, and audit standards within Workday solutions.
• Identify process gaps and promote optimization and automation.
• Maintain documentation and architectural standards for Workday SCM solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional experience with Workday, ERP, Supply Chain, Procurement or related enterprise applications, with substantial hands-on Workday SCM expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Workday Procurement and SCM modules.
• Thorough knowledge of Procure-to-Pay, Supplier Management and Lifecycle, Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, Supplier Accounts, Expense Management, and Accounts Payable processes.
• Experience in designing and configuring Workday business processes and complex approval workflows.
• Understanding of Workday security domains and business process security.
• Proven track record leading multiple full lifecycle Workday implementations.
• Experience with Workday integration tools and technologies such as EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Solid knowledge of Workday reporting and data architecture.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday SCM or Financials certifications.
• Experience with Workday Financials modules including GL, AP, and Accounting to enable cross-functional alignment.
• Expertise integrating Workday with external ERPs, procurement platforms, supplier, inventory, or financial systems.
• Familiarity with global Workday deployments covering multiple entities, currencies, countries, and regulatory environments.
• Knowledge of Workday Extend and platform capabilities.
• Experience with Workday reporting, custom dashboards, calculated fields, and data analytics.
• Background in Workday optimization, enhancement programs, and post-production transformations.
• Experience collaborating with enterprise clients and executive stakeholders directly.

Working Conditions

This role requires presence at the Kondapur, Hyderabad office with 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST working hours, aligned with the Eastern timezone. No hybrid or remote work is offered.
