Windows Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Windows Engineer to support and maintain the Windows Server environments with comprehensive expertise in system administration, network management, virtualization, and enterprise applications. This contract role is onsite in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia and involves shift work.

Key Responsibilities and Knowledge Areas

• Comprehensive understanding and management of Windows Server operating systems and their services.
• Advanced skills in Active Directory, including group policy administration and DNS management.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) components.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and efficient management tasks.
• Effective troubleshooting capabilities for both hardware and software issues common within enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of network core components, including TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, and DNS services.
• Management and implementation of backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Expertise in diagnosing and resolving intricate system and network challenges.
• Working knowledge of key enterprise software including Microsoft Exchange, Citrix, and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
• Execution of system maintenance tasks including closure of vulnerability assessments (VA) and change requests (CR).
• Adherence to security protocols with best practices in patch management and control over access permissions.
• Utilization of analytical and problem-solving skills to handle complex technical scenarios.
• Exemplary communication and documentation skills to facilitate effective team collaboration.
• Willingness and availability to work in rotational shifts as required.
