Role Overview
This position works primarily onsite from Tuesday to Saturday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, serving as the resident expert in kitchen appliances including cooktops, ovens, rangehoods, and dishwashers. The Whiteware Specialist functions within a hands-on, customer-oriented sales setting, delivering personalized advice and excellent service while representing some of the leading whiteware brands worldwide.
Responsibilities include in-store demonstrations and detailed product information sharing to help customers realize their ideal kitchen setup, whether it is a first home renovation or a comprehensive solution for trade clients. The role emphasizes building customer trust, delivering meaningful value, and highlighting cutting-edge kitchen technology.
Primary Duties
- Identify customer needs and propose customized whiteware packages tailored accordingly.
- Keep current with extensive product knowledge across a diverse range of kitchen appliances.
- Generate quotes and invoices, assist with installations, and provide after-sales support.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and service agents to swiftly address customer inquiries.
- Enliven product presentations through engaging and insightful demonstrations.
- Maintain a professional and inviting department atmosphere.
- Collaborate proactively with team members to meet sales objectives and foster a positive store environment.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate thrives in a sales-driven setting with enthusiasm for helping customers find the optimal appliance solutions, whether a single item or a full kitchen ensemble. Strong interpersonal skills to ask pertinent questions and offer intelligent, quality recommendations are essential. Prior experience in whiteware or appliance sales is advantageous but not mandatory as comprehensive training is provided for motivated individuals.
