Role Overview

We are seeking a General Manager to oversee the Wexford manufacturing facility and its legal entity. Reporting directly to divisional leadership, you will steer all facets of operational, financial, and personnel performance. Your leadership will ensure achievement of business goals while maintaining exemplary standards in safety, quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide overall Wexford site performance to meet operational, financial, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Champion operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing, procurement, logistics, quality, and environmental, safety and health, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
• Formulate and implement manufacturing and business strategies aligned with divisional objectives and growth ambitions.
• Lead and mentor the site leadership team, cultivating accountability, collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Assume full accountability for site financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, investment planning, and cash flow management.
• Perform duties as Managing Director for the legal entity, ensuring governance, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Represent the business at senior levels, nurturing positive relationships with employees, customers, suppliers, local authorities, and key stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive leadership background in manufacturing, operational management, or general management within complex industrial contexts.
• Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary teams and achieving sustainable operational and financial results.
• Strong expertise in manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, operational excellence methodologies, and continuous improvement.
• Experience in managing budgets, business performance metrics, and strategic investment initiatives.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead organizational change and influence stakeholders within a matrix environment.
• Degree holder in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related field, complemented by experience in engineering or industrial sectors.
