Wellsite Geologist

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced candidates with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field who have over eight years of experience in the geology domain within the oil and gas sector. The role demands operational expertise as a geologist actively engaged in wellsite activities, mud logging, or equivalent positions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee wellsite operations in collaboration with an integrated team.
• Develop well prognoses and logging programs to guide drilling activities.
• Coordinate planning, logistical arrangements, and quality control measures with service providers such as mud logging, logging-while-drilling (LWD), and wireline logging teams.
• Compile detailed geological reports related to drilling and workover operations, including geological completion documents.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with petroleum geology in the Middle East region.
• Experience supervising key operation geology activities including mud logging, LWD, and wireline logging.
• Preferred experience includes geosteering and working with Middle Eastern carbonate reservoirs.

Additional Information

• Compensation: AED 20,000 monthly.
• Work schedule follows a 28 days on/28 days off rotational pattern.
