Job Overview

We seek a proficient Welder to join our manufacturing and industrial facility in Bhilai, Chattisgarh. The role involves performing welding, fabrication, repair, and upkeep of metal components and structural elements while adhering strictly to quality and safety protocols.

Primary Duties

• Execute welding operations using MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding techniques as necessary.
• Interpret welding blueprints, dimensions, and specifications accurately.
• Fabricate metal parts, frames, structures, and machinery components via welding.
• Perform supplementary tasks such as cutting, grinding, drilling, and basic fabrication.
• Examine weld joints for durability, precision, and overall quality.
• Detect and rectify any welding faults when needed.
• Operate and upkeep welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to established welding procedures and comply with industrial safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
• Collaborate with fitters and maintenance personnel during fabrication and repair activities.

Candidate Profile Requirements

• Completion of ITI certification in Welder or Fabrication trade is preferred.
• Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of various welding methods, tools, and machinery.
• Capability to read and comprehend basic welding and engineering drawings.
• Awareness of workplace safety rules and use of personal protective equipment.
• Flexibility to work shifts and achieve production or maintenance goals.
