Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced powder coater to join our busy, high-paced workshop renowned for its superior craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. This role demands pride in producing durable, high-quality finishes and expertise in multiple powder coating processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces including cleaning and masking tasks diligently.
- Apply powder coating with proficiency across a variety of finishes.
- Manage color transitions effectively to avoid cross contamination.
- Oversee chemical pretreatment processes such as cleaning, washing, and phosphating of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area, including troubleshooting equipment such as powder spray booths, guns, reciprocators, wash tanks, and curing ovens.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in powder coating, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of powder coating application techniques, chemical pretreatment methods, and related machinery.
- Strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional team collaboration skills.
