Job Overview

A prominent manufacturing firm is seeking skilled operators for full-time positions in the Fitting and Welding departments. These roles involve operating machinery, assembly, quality checks, and maintaining safety and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and assemble mechanical or electrical components in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Carry out quality inspections, analyzing defects as needed.
• Maintain daily production records and report any machine or process downtime to meet shift goals.
• Assist line supervisors in maintaining 5S workplace organization and safety compliance.
• For welders and fitters, perform precision welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Arc welding according to blueprints.
• Assemble metal parts and structural components using both manual and power tools.
• Set up and run lathes, milling machines, or other specialized machinery.
• Check welds and finished components for dimensional precision and quality.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: ITI certified in Welder, Fitter, or Machinist trades.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Knowledgeable about safety protocols and shop floor practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary range between ₹20,000 to ₹30,000.
