Welder - Afternoon Shift

Overview

We are currently seeking two skilled welders to join our afternoon shift team based in Windsor, Ontario. This position offers competitive compensation along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze welding blueprints, drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions accurately.
• Utilize manual, semi-automatic, and automated welding machinery to complete assignments.
• Execute various welding methods including GTAW (TIG), GMAW, FCAW, and multi-pass welding techniques.
• Operate oxygen arc cutting tools effectively and safely.
• Manufacture and repair metal parts as required by job specifications.
• Maintain high standards of quality and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Possess a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in welding.
• Hold a valid welding certification recognized in the industry.
• Have completed high school or equivalent education.
• Ability to comprehend English language for safety instructions and technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical skills paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced workshop setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $22 to $30 with an additional $2/hour premium for afternoon shifts.
