The company collaborates with notable brands including Hawke International, Chalmit, Hansun-S-LOK, BICC components, and Apple International across Qatar, assisting global manufacturers and serving local clients on critical energy projects.

Role Overview

The Website Manager is responsible for the active daily oversight and enhancement of ElecOil's website in a full-time remote capacity. This encompasses updating and managing product and brand information, guaranteeing content accuracy, and ensuring a seamless user experience. Key duties include monitoring website analytics for traffic and user interactions, implementing site performance improvements to boost engagement and conversions, and coordinating web development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update website product listings and brand information ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion data to inform optimization efforts.
  • Manage small-scale web projects and collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Support e-commerce functions such as pricing updates, online inquiries, and optimizing the purchase process.
  • Assist with site design elements focusing on usability and mobile responsiveness.
  • Work alongside technical teams to maintain website security and operational uptime.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in web analytics and performance monitoring tools to assess site traffic and engagement metrics.
  • Experience with content management systems to maintain consistent and accurate web content.
  • Project management capabilities for planning and executing website updates on schedule.
  • E-commerce knowledge related to product listing management and online customer support.
  • Understanding of web design basics, particularly for layout, usability, and responsive interfaces.
  • Prior experience managing corporate or B2B websites, ideally in industrial, oil and gas, or technical product sectors.
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
  • Effective communication skills in English; additional languages are considered advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and foundational SEO best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Communications, or related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience.
