Role Overview

This is an hourly contract opportunity for a Web Developer working remotely from the United Kingdom. The assignment offers pay in the range of $20 to $70 per hour and is suited to someone available for 10 to 40 hours each week.

What You’ll Do

• Create and support responsive web applications that are easy to use and maintain.
• Connect frontend interfaces with backend services and handle API-based data flow.
• Work closely with designers to shape smooth and consistent user experiences.
• Investigate issues, fix bugs, and improve application speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Produce clear, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with development standards.
• Take part in planning discussions and help evaluate technical approaches and solutions.
• Keep communication open and effective with teammates and other stakeholders.

What’s Needed

• Strong command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience working with backend APIs and consuming data from them.
• Good understanding of responsive layouts and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong written and spoken communication abilities.
• Comfort working autonomously in a remote setting.
• Experience using collaboration tools and working with distributed teams.
• Sharp problem-solving ability and careful attention to detail.
