Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position in Singapore involves collaborating directly with clients to grasp their financial goals, comfort with risk, and broader aspirations. Responsibilities include creating customized financial plans, conducting thorough financial needs assessments, suggesting appropriate investment and insurance products, and regularly reviewing clients’ portfolios to make adjustments as needed. The Wealth Planner will also focus on translating complex financial topics into understandable advice and maintaining strong ongoing client relationships through proactive, clear communication.
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to identify financial objectives, risk tolerance, and personal goals.
- Develop tailored financial plans that facilitate wealth growth and protection over time.
- Conduct financial needs analyses and recommend suitable investment and insurance solutions.
- Monitor and review client portfolios continuously, adjusting plans in line with life changes and market dynamics.
- Provide financial education by simplifying intricate concepts and preparing comprehensive proposals and reports.
- Maintain enduring client relationships through regular check-ins and early issue detection.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory requirements, and product innovations to ensure advice is compliant and relevant.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in financial planning with experience creating client-focused, goal-oriented strategies.
- Strong knowledge of investment management, portfolio analysis, risk assessment, and asset allocation recommendations.
- Comprehensive understanding of finance fundamentals including cash flow models, retirement strategies, and wealth preservation techniques.
- Familiarity with insurance offerings across life, health, and general insurance and their integration into financial plans.
- Academic qualifications in Finance, Economics, Business, or related disciplines; professional certifications such as CFP, CFA, or ChFC are advantageous.
- Superior interpersonal and communication abilities to clearly convey complex financial information.
- Demonstrated client relationship management skills, ethical integrity, and commitment to prioritizing client interests.
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively with strong analytical capability, detail orientation, and proficiency in financial software tools and MS Office.
