About the Role

Honesty Machine Tools invites applications for the position of Warehouse & Workshop Operations Supervisor based at their Khopoli, Maharashtra location. This full-time role involves managing the daily industrial machinery warehouse and workshop activities, ensuring smooth operations and maintenance of accurate records.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive records of all machinery in inventory, documenting make, model, capacity, dimensions, technical specifications, condition, and unique identification details.
• Keep updated stock registers complemented with photographs and precise storage details.
• Track machinery status throughout inspection, refurbishment, modification, and ready-to-dispatch stages.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and workshop material inventories effectively.
• Supervise the loading, unloading, and transportation of heavy machinery, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and compliance with safety procedures.
• Coordinate dispatches, material receipt logistics, and transportation arrangements.
• Verify machinery specifications prior to dispatch to ensure accuracy.
• Oversee workshop activities including allocation of tasks to technicians, welders, fitters, and helpers related to gearbox and motor refurbishments.
• Manage EOT crane alteration, modification, and repair operations as directed by management.
• Monitor project timelines and quality standards, ensuring timely job completion.
• Arrange necessary tools, spare parts, and materials to support workshop jobs.
• Maintain detailed documentation including daily machinery inward/outward reports, job cards, worker attendance logs, and progress tracking.
• Use MS Excel or Google Sheets to update stock and machinery status regularly.
• Provide daily updates on warehouse and workshop operations to management.
• Support customer visits by showcasing machinery inventory and explaining specifications.
• Coordinate with transport companies, suppliers, and external workshops as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience working in industrial warehouse environments, machinery workshops, fabrication units, or engineering sectors, with 3 to 5 years preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of industrial machinery components such as gearboxes, motors, and EOT cranes is advantageous.
• Proficiency in taking precise measurements with measuring tapes, vernier calipers, and similar basic tools.
• Competency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and general computer usage.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise a team and juggle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and meticulous record-keeping abilities.
• Practical and accountable mindset capable of managing daily warehouse operations independently.
