Warehouse Supervisor

Position Overview

We seek a dependable and accountable Warehouse Supervisor (Godown In-Charge) to oversee daily warehouse functions at our Indore location. The role requires managing stock handling, receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining inventory, and coordinating closely with staff and external parties.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth daily operations of the warehouse.
• Receive goods and verify their quantity, quality, and specifications.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of stock inflow, outflow, and on-hand inventory.
• Handle packing, loading, and dispatching activities efficiently.
• Perform regular physical stock audits to identify any shortages or discrepancies.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderly arrangement within the warehouse.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, customers, and internal team members to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Manage appropriate documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials.
• Assist in keeping basic inventory logs using Excel and computer systems.
• Ensure storage of goods in a systematic and safe manner.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic knowledge of stock and inventory management principles.
• Fundamental computer skills, including proficiency with Excel.
• Strong communication and coordination capabilities.
• Physically able to perform routine warehouse tasks.
• Honest, responsible, and reliable work ethic.
• Preference for candidates based in or near Indore.
• Experience maintaining stock registers and inventory records preferred.
• Familiarity with billing or inventory software is a plus.

Work Conditions

• Work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Full-time position requiring on-site presence.
• Employment in a small, family-run business environment.
