Role Overview
As a Warehouse Storeperson / Pick Packer at Hydraulink's Rocklea branch, you will be integral to maintaining smooth operations by ensuring products move efficiently from receiving to dispatch. This position offers a solid foundation in hydraulics and opportunities to explore various career pathways such as Mobile Service Technician, Customer Service Officer, or Area Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Selecting and dispatching orders for hydraulic fittings.
- Cutting and preparing hydraulic and industrial hoses for dispatch.
- Operating high reach forklifts to manage inventory.
- Preparing and dispatching monthly stock orders to customers.
- Organizing incoming monthly stock and replenishing inventory.
- Conducting hose testing along with stocktaking and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, physically fit, and enjoys being part of a supportive team. Previous experience in warehousing or inbound goods is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications & Attributes
- Possession of a valid car driver’s license is mandatory.
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina.
- High Reach (HR) forklift license is highly advantageous.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Capability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills are beneficial.
