About the Role

S&J Retail Ltd, a swiftly expanding UK-based online grocery retailer located in Wellingborough, is seeking dependable and diligent Warehouse Packers to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The company manages over 2,000 customer orders daily, dispatching from a bustling warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently packing customer orders for shipment
• Labelling packages to prepare them for dispatch
• Verifying product and order accuracy prior to sending
• Handling diverse grocery and retail items carefully
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and organized work environment
• Assisting with general warehouse tasks as needed
• Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols
• Collaborating with team members to consistently meet daily packing targets
• Ensuring high standards of quality, presentation, and care during packing

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will be reliable and industrious, comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse setting. While prior warehouse or packing experience is preferred, candidates from similarly fast-paced roles demonstrating reliability and work ethic will also be considered. Candidates should be:

• Capable of working swiftly and precisely under pressure
• Able to perform physically active tasks, including standing for extended periods and manual handling
• Detail-oriented and organized
• A positive team player with a strong dedication to work
• Committed to following instructions and company standards
• Willing and able to work five days out of six on a Monday to Saturday schedule

Working Hours and Location

The position is based at the Wellingborough warehouse and operates on a rota of five days out of six between Monday and Saturday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
