Warehouse Manager

About the Role

Vigneshwara Silks requires a meticulous and organized Warehouse Management Executive to supervise inventory control, stock movements, and the overall functioning of warehouse operations. The role focuses on ensuring precise stock handling, efficient inward and outward processing of sarees and related items, aligned to support retail sales objectives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse tasks including receipt, storage, and dispatch of stock.
• Maintain precise records for sarees, dress materials, and other merchandise.
• Perform routine physical stock audits and inventory verification.
• Ensure products are properly tagged, labeled, and organized.
• Liaise with retail sales teams about stock levels and reorder needs.
• Track and record all stock inflows and outflows in the inventory system.
• Compile inventory reports regularly for submission to management.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety standards, and appropriate handling of products.
• Identify and communicate issues related to inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
• Collaborate with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely goods receipt and delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
• One to five years’ experience in warehouse, inventory, or store management roles.
• Preferably experienced within textile, apparel, or retail sectors.
• Basic proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and communication capabilities.
