Role Overview

As a Waitress, your primary responsibility is to prepare for and deliver Food and Beverage services to guests, following the hotel’s Food and Beverage concept. You will create memorable experiences by providing engaging, personalized service that reflects ibis's service promise and meets the highest brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate brand standards in all guest interactions.
• Maintain positive, cooperative working relationships with all colleagues.
• Deliver professional, friendly, and warm service at all times.
• Thoroughly understand Restaurant Policies, Procedures, and Service Standards provided by the hotel.
• Have comprehensive knowledge of the menu, beverage lists, and any ongoing promotions; confidently answer guest inquiries about menu items, including ingredients, garnishes, and preparation methods.
• Understand shift-end reporting, cash and non-cash transactions, and procedures for handling deposits and refunds.
• Operate all outlet equipment competently.
• Participate actively in hotel-wide health and safety initiatives.
• Adhere strictly to food and beverage safety and sanitation policies.
• Perform miscellaneous duties assigned by management pertinent to overall quality service delivery.
• Follow the hotel's telephone etiquette standards.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrate excellent guest service skills, professional appearance, and effective communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English (both verbal and written); knowledge of a second language is advantageous.
• Capability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in service roles is beneficial.
• Availability to work during night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Highly responsible and dependable.
• Ability to remain calm, courteous, and attentive to guests’ needs under pressure.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate cohesively with colleagues.

Visa Requirements: Candidates must be eligible to live and work in Dubai. Selected candidates will have visa costs and flights from their place of origin covered by ibis Styles Dragon Mart.
