About the Role

Lavender Bakery & Desserts located in Ghatkopar (E), Mumbai, seeks a friendly and customer-focused Waiter to join their team. The role is full-time, on-site, requiring 6 working days per week with a 10-hour shift including a one-hour break. Weekly days off fall between Monday and Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and offer professional, warm service.
• Present menus and accurately take orders for food and beverages, including cakes, customized cakes, and coffee.
• Serve orders promptly while adhering to proper table service etiquette.
• Maintain updated knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
• Keep the dining area, tables, and service counters clean, organized, and hygienic.
• Manage POS billing, handling cash and card payments, and prepare bills.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints courteously.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order processing.
• Follow established hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience ranging from 6 months to 1 year, preferably in a café environment.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.

Working Conditions and Compensation

• Full-time, on-site position in Mumbai.
• 6 working days weekly with 10-hour shifts including one-hour breaks.
• Weekly day off between Monday and Thursday.
• Monthly salary from ₹15,000 up to ₹21,000.
