Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled VTL Machinist to work full-time on-site in Singapore. The role involves operating various machining equipment, setting up tooling, and ensuring precision in manufacturing processes to support quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate both manual and CNC Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL), along with lathe and milling machines.
- Set up jigs, fixtures, and tooling necessary for machining tasks.
- Conduct precise inspections using micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining instructions accurately.
- Support activities related to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), quality assurance, safety procedures, and ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess between three to five years of practical machining experience.
- Hands-on expertise with VTL, lathe, and milling machines.
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques, blueprint reading, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficient in using precision measurement instruments.
- Effective communication skills in English.
