VR Lab Assistant

About the Role

MediSim VR has established a cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) training laboratory in Bangalore, seeking a diligent, approachable individual to oversee the lab and assist trainees during sessions. No prior medical or technical background is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. Candidates need foundational computer literacy, self-confidence, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate VR equipment throughout student trainings.
• Set up manikins and ensure smooth daily lab operations.
• Guide students throughout their VR training experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall functionality of the lab.
• Keep detailed records including usage logs, attendance, and inventory.
• Resolve common technical issues, such as app freezing or headset connectivity.
• Serve as the main contact person within the VR lab environment.

Candidate Profile

• Fresh graduates or those with up to two years of professional experience.
• Graduates from any academic discipline (e.g., BA, BCom, BSc, BBA).
• Residency in Bangalore or nearby areas is mandatory.
• Polite, confident, and effective in English communication.
• Basic proficiency with computers including Microsoft Excel, Word, and internet browsing.
• Comfort in managing electronic devices and addressing minor technical faults.
• Capability to work independently with responsibility and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing gadgets, VR/AV technologies, or simulation laboratory equipment.
• Background in customer-facing roles such as retail, event coordination, or help desks.

• This is a full-time position requiring daily attendance during typical college hours.
